Over the past eight years, we have instructed more than 400 people in various sewing skills. Along with sewing classes, our learners receive support and promotion which helps them build their confidence and skill.
The learning environment at Royal Globe Inc. is conditioned for growth! Our Sewing Classes entail Theory, Demonstration & Practice which help our learners at all levels to grasp concepts quickly.

Beginner's Garment (3 months | Registration fee EC$50 / US$20 | monthly fee EC$200 / US$76)
Our Beginners Garment Sewing Class is suitable for people with little or no sewing experience. If you want to strengthen your cutting skills and build confidence, this program is for you.
Learners who select this program will be taught Level 1 sewing techniques and will be tutored in fabricating skirts, design modifications, and peasant blouses. The program sets a strong foundation for sewing students, by teaching basic 'need-to-knows' including basic sewing machine parts. At class, each student is assigned a sewing machine for working on class projects. Sign up here
Intermediate Garment (Registration fee EC$50 / US$20.00 | Program fee EC$850 / US$284.00)
The Intermediate Garment Program is structured for people with sewing
experience who can successfully complete the areas covered in our Beginner's Garment Sewing Class without assistance.
Learners who register for this program are taught to fabricate dresses and structured blouses as well as to construct women's trousers. Sign up here
Children's Sewing Club (8 -13 years | Registration fee EC$25 / US$10 | monthly fee EC$100 / US$ 38)
We are proud to say that this is the first and only sewing program in Dominica developed especially for children!
The program runs for one year and generally follows the regular school year with coinciding vacation periods.
The children learn hand sewing skills and sewing machine use. We teach the young sewers to fabricate a range of items using age-appropriate skills that we build on as they improve. We promote teamwork, kindness, and other social skills to ensure our learners are well-rounded. Parents have expressed seeing a boost in their children's confidence as they develop a love for the skill.
